NAKAMURA TEIJO

(JAPÓN   1900-1988)

Fundó la revista Kazahama en 1947. Es la poeta tradicionalista, respetuosa del kigo y “saijikis”. En 1984, recibió el prestigioso premio de la Academia de Arte japonés en la División de Literatura de la poesía japonesa.

Su hojas y las marchitas

Flotando en el agua

Este hombre

Bajo un cerezo en flor

Estaba al fresco

Al arrozal en primavera

La mujer afuera

Mirando serenamente

Noche fría.

Si cubro mi hija

the air is filling

with dragonflies

I close the screen doors —

fallen leaves quietly end

this very day

withered lotus leaves

some broken, some not,

float on the spring water
